Grating Fasteners: Threaded Stud Fastening System

Fixing grating to galvanised or coated steel beams usually means welding, drilling through bolts or clamping from both sides. We supply a threaded stud fastening system that fixes grating to the supporting steel without welding. No grinding, welding or repainting of the galvanised or coated beam.

It suits steel, aluminium and FRP grating, and can be ordered on its own or together with the grating, platforms and walkways we supply.

Features

No welding. The stud is driven into the supporting beam. No welder and no external power supply are needed on site.
No grinding, welding or repainting of the galvanised or coated beam.
One-side access. Installed from above the grating, with no need to reach the underside of the beam.
Materials: threaded studs in stainless steel or carbon steel; M clips and disc clips in 316L/304.
For steel, aluminium and FRP grating.
Visual inspection. Each fixing can be checked by eye after installation.
Installed with a powder-actuated tool; tool and cartridges are not supplied by us.
