Product Overview

FRP (Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic) grating is corrosion-resistant, lightweight, and non-conductive, making it a practical choice for chemical, marine, and offshore environments.

Choose FRP grating where steel would corrode, or where electrical insulation and low weight are required.

Sizes & Customization

Panel thickness, mesh size, resin type, and color are selected to match the chemical environment and load. Panels are cut to size with edge sealing on request.

Applications

  • Chemical processing plants
  • Marine and offshore platforms
  • Water treatment facilities
  • Electrical and power substations
  • Food processing facilities

Advantages

Packing & Shipping

Panels are bundled and secured for export — typically palletized or crated with edge protection and moisture barrier. Documents (packing list, shipping marks) are prepared to match your order and destination requirements.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which resin system should I choose?

It depends on the chemicals present. Polyester suits general corrosion resistance; vinyl ester suits stronger acids and solvents; phenolic suits fire-retardant and low-smoke applications. Tell us the environment and we will recommend the right system.

Is FRP grating as strong as steel?

FRP has a lower load capacity than steel for the same thickness, but its corrosion resistance and low weight often make it the better total-cost choice in corrosive environments. Provide your load and span so we can confirm the right thickness.

Does FRP grating require maintenance?

FRP is largely maintenance-free. Occasional washing removes surface deposits in aggressive environments.
